Studio eclectic began as a husband and wife team in 2009 shooting mainly weddings, Tracy originally started out as eclektic photography + design back in 2002 whilst dabbling in some design work along with photography. Since then we have rebranded and set up a new home studio in Strathfield, in Sydney's Inner West. Fast forward to 2025 and the business has evolved to incorporate all genres of photography alongside weddings, portraits and preschool photography and in the last decade, more commercial, headshot and event photography.

As business owners we understand how important it is to have your brand represented in the best possible light with high quality imagery and fast turnaround.
As a boutique studio, we look after our clients like our own. We only take a limited number of bookings in a week so that we can focus on unrushed editing of your images. Our goal is not just to meet your expectations, but to exceed them in delivering you the very best quality images, prints and service.
With any family portrait taken here at Studio Eclectic, we know we have done our job well when your final visit to the studio is to pick up your portrait. Whether it is a an art print, a framed wall portrait, an album, or a canvas or wood block, it brings us great joy knowing you can view your photos each day.
We believe that photos should be displayed in your home to be enjoyed everyday, It is sad when we hear of many families who purchase a USB of photos from their professional photographer but never get around to printing any of the photos and forget what those photos actually look like.

what makes us different
In this age of digital photography, it is rare to find anyone printing their photos that they take from their phones, or their digital cameras.
But if you ask anyone what would they do if they are about to be evacuated because of bushfires of floods, what is the first thing they will grab? Photo albums. (and of course passports and pets and birth certificates!)
Why are photographs such treasured items? Family photographs preserve history, they show of the connection between loved ones and gives a window into the lives of those we have lost and never met. Photographs allows us to hold on to a small part of those dear to us but also to those we have lost as this is all we have left of them to share with the next generation.

Tracy has always had a keen interest in art since she was in primary school and spent most of highschool in the art room! She then went on to further study at UNSW Art & Design as she discovered her love for photography -majoring in Photomedia and finishing off a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
With over 20 years of experience in the photography industry, Tracy has cultivated a deep expertise across a wide range of photographic genres and business environments. Her extensive background has enabled her to collaborate with a diverse clientele, including specialists in the medical field, educational institutions such as schools and universities, as well as small business owners. Known for her adaptability and professional approach, she consistently delivers high-quality content tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Anastasia has been a valued member of Studio Eclectic for the past 10 years, bringing energy, a creative eye, and a remarkable ability to connect with people of all ages. With a background in fashion and art, and a strong foundation in street, fashion, and editorial photography, she contributes a unique and quirky perspective that enhances the studio's distinct and eclectic style. Beginning her journey as a photographer’s assistant, Anastasia has grown into a versatile and experienced photographer. She now leads sessions across a variety of areas including preschools, professional headshots, and events, delivering engaging and authentic imagery with every project.
Tracy and her team have been amazing in putting together professional headshots of our team for our practice website.
